Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the Progma platform and related services (the "Service"). It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, notice to the relevant institution or authorities.

1. General principles

You must use the Service only for lawful educational purposes, in compliance with applicable law and your institution's policies, and in a way that respects the rights, safety, and privacy of others.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of others;
• upload or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
• access or attempt to access accounts, data, or institution workspaces that you are not authorized to access, or attempt to circumvent tenant isolation between institutions;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent security or authentication measures, except through our Responsible Disclosure process;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through denial-of-service activity;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or share credentials with unauthorized persons;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages; or
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted by your agreement.

3. Code-execution environment

The Service executes submitted code in a constrained, third-party execution environment subject to resource limits. When using code execution you must not:

• run malicious code, malware, or exploits;
• attempt to escape the execution sandbox or gain unauthorized access to underlying infrastructure;
• use the environment to attack, scan, or send unauthorized traffic to any network or system;
• mine cryptocurrency or perform other resource-abusive workloads unrelated to coursework; or
• intentionally exceed or attempt to defeat the configured time, memory, output, or other resource limits.

4. AI-assisted features

When using AI-assisted features you must not:

• attempt to manipulate the AI to produce unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing output, or to bypass safety or content controls;
• submit content you are not permitted to share, including others' confidential or personal data without a lawful basis;
• attempt prompt injection or otherwise interfere with the AI's intended operation; or
• rely on AI output without human review where accuracy matters (for example, grading or assessment design).

AI output may be inaccurate. You remain responsible for how you use it.

5. Academic integrity

The Service is an educational tool. Institutions and their users are responsible for their own academic-integrity policies. You must not use the Service to facilitate cheating or other conduct that violates your institution's academic-integrity rules.

6. Reporting violations

To report a suspected violation of this AUP, contact support@progma.app. To report a security vulnerability, follow our Security & Responsible Disclosure process or email security@progma.app.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service and its users. Where a violation involves an institution's users, we may notify the institution's administrators.
